About

The Second Vatican Council, begun in 1962, was the launching point of many marked changes in Catholic churches throughout the world. At the beginning the changes seemed small, but as they have progressed, and the ideas behind them have come to bear fruit, many have realized that the religion being taught and practiced in their churches is not the Faith which their Catholic forerunners loved, is not the Faith which inspired the great cathedrals, is not the Faith which held man to a high moral standard, and offered him the grace to live up to that standard. It is not, in short, the true Catholic Faith. Many have come to see that they are not being taught the truth— that they are not being taught the Catholic Faith. The Church will always remain as Christ founded her, the infallible teacher of truth. When we see, then, men teaching error blatantly, when we see them closing their eyes to sin, and approving of all the religions of the world, then we see that they are not come teachers from God, that they are not teachers of the Catholic Church. Our Lady of Victory Church preserves the Catholic Faith, as Christ imparted it. We accept every Catholic teaching, we uphold the true Catholic Sacraments, we believe and reverence the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, we honour and hold as sacred the Holy Mass, we acknowledge the authority of the successors of Peter in the Primacy. We reject the errors of the modern church; we reject a false ecumenism that denies that there is one true church founded by Christ; we reject liturgy that is profane and displeasing to God, and we reject as false the supposed authorities who promote the new religion of Vatican II.
