A Truly Catholic School
Set in a peaceful rural setting not far from London, Our Lady of Victory Academy provides full education for Grades one through twelve.
Its elementary education covers all the fundamentals—Religion, English, Arithmetic, Science, History, Geography, and more.
High School education aims to prepare the students for whatever vocation they may have. It encompasses subjects such as Theology & Philosophy; English Language Arts; French;; Algebra and other areas of Mathematics; Biology, Chemistry, and others areas of science; History; Geography; Computer Sciences; and other electives. Additionally, we work with families and businesses to facilitate
co-operative education.
All of this in an environment that is thoroughly Catholic.
Staff
Our Academy is staffed primarily by clergy and the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of God.
Our clergy are trained and ordained in a traditional Catholic seminary, and often bring other talents into their roles in the Academy.
The Religious Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of God are a traditional religious order who specialize in the operation of schools and the religious education of youth. Main Staff:
Fr. Jeremy Saunders, Pastor
Fr. Saunders oversees the operation of the Academy, provides for its spiritual needs, and also teaches Highschool Theology and Science.
Sr. Maria Jacinta, CMD, Principle & Registrar
Sr. Jacinta takes care of the school’s day-to-day administration and teaches High School English and Mathematics. She has previously taught and filled various roles in academies in Nebraska and Arizona.
Mr. Kyle St. Aubin, B.A. Hist. (Hon.), B.A. Ed.
Mr. St. Aubin is a seminarian in Minor Orders. Previously having worked as an Ontario school teacher, Mr. St. Aubin now teaches at the Academy in addition to his own studies for the priesthood.
Sr. Marie Bernadette, CMD
Sr. Bernadette is responsible for the education of grades 1-4, and has previously taught in Arizona and Colorado.
Mrs. Kathryn Evison
Time and Tuition
The academy offers three and five day a week options, with work being sent home for the remaining day or days. This allows for flexibility for the families, and reduces travel time for those who live at a distance.
Tuition is kept very low and adapts to the size of family, so that finances do not become a barrier to good, Catholic education.
Scientia, Sapientia, Caritas
Our Lady of Victory Academy was founded to provide a well-rounded education in a traditional Catholic environment.
The first two words of our motto—Knowledge and Wisdom—were chosen because we want to lay emphasis on the imparting of good and useful information to our students, together with the ability to make use of their knowledge.
The third word of our motto—charity—was chosen because what is most important is that our students love God above all things and their neighbours as themselves for God’s sake.
2024 Jogathon
Our Lady of Victory’s 2nd Annual Jog-a-thon will be held on October 9th, 2024.

Our Lady of Victory Academy recently acquired the one room schoolhouse located on Westchester Bourne to house our new school. This was actually the site of one of the oldest one room schoolhouses in the province of Ontario. The first school was established here in 1873, while the present building was built in 1913. The North Dorchester and Westminster School was long hailed as one of the finest until it was closed as a school in 1966.
This Academy is endeavoring to take up the commitment to education that those in the early days began. It aims at the development of the whole person and endeavors to provide a well rounded education while surrounding its students with an environment that is rich in Catholic Traditions and good morals. The Academy strives to form students who are confident, motivated, and truly dedicated members of the Mystical Body of Christ and lights to the world.
